ABOUT MY WORK
This is the bit where I'm expected to write something about my obsession with wilderness, chasing epic light or my singular pursuit of harmony with nature, right? Well……
You see, the intention behind my photography is to capture a spirit of adventure, but with as little of the dedication and effort that true adventurers undertake. My fear of bears, mountain lions and rattlesnakes has led me to discover that, with a sufficiently long telephoto lens and a good tripod, I don't need to stray more than a few feet from the safety and comfort of my vehicle to capture scenes that make me look like an intrepid wilderness explorer. My dedication to this process has been limited to growing a beard in order to solidify the image of badass epic light chasing wilderness harmony guy. To be fair it’s quite a rugged looking beard.
Truth be told, I just hope you find something here that brings a little joy to your day, and from that hope springs my love for photography.
Looks peaceful, doesn't it. Oh, the magic of photography....... and photoshop, there is most definitely some photoshopping going on here. That's what it took to make this look like a magical scene of tranquility.
