You won’t find many answers to that question here, but you may find some amusing insights into the conflicted mind of a landscape photographer with a dislike for landscape photographers. All of these anecdotes are true, insofar as it’s true they are anecdotes.
This was a very rushed photograph that almost didn't happen. I was working about 90 mins from the falls and quitting time was about 2 hours before sunset.... hence the rush. In any other state I'd be about 45 minutes from the park, but this was Oregon and I needed gas….
This is a long read.... so for those with a short attention span or who just don't care enough to read it, the synopsis is, I'm humble, talented and have an aversion to bridges.
Looks peaceful, doesn't it. Oh, the magic of photography....... and photoshop, there is most definitely some photoshopping going on here. That's what it took to make this look like a magical scene of tranquility.
